United Methodist Women is a membership organization comprising close to 1-million members across the United States. Any woman committing herself to the PURPOSE of the organization can be a member.

Women are invited to be involved in leadership at the local, district, conference, jurisdiction or national level. By doing so, you become a woman committed to mission with women, children and youth!

Brockport United Methodist Women meet in the church library on the 4th Tuesday of most months at 7:00 p.m.

The Purpose of United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Prayer Calendar

A daily devotional guide to enrich your personal meditation time. It provides Scripture readings and guidance in prayer for mission workers and projects supported by the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church.

A resource for pastors and leaders of prayer groups. At the top of the calendar pages are devotional materials and excerpts from letters that will help make mission come alive for you and your listeners as you pray for United Methodist mission projects and personnel around the world.

A way to stay in touch with mission workers. You will find the names of all active mission workers listed on their birthdays. Their addresses are at the back of the calendar, along with information on the retirees.

To help you pray for all the mission work of The United Methodist Church without missing any persons in mission, the Prayer Calendar is organized in such a way that each of the missionaries and deaconesses and many of the mission programs of the General Board of Global Ministries are named at some time during the year.
