The BUMC Men’s Group meets generally meets the third Sunday of each month at 6:00 PM at the church, although this is always subject to change, depending upon various schedules. The meetings are open to all men of the congregation, friends, guests and visitors. The purpose of the group is to share in fellowship, devotions, and missions oportunities.

Our meetings are dinner meetings (tasty soups and desserts are the norm) and include spiritual devotionals, plans for community involvement and fun activities. The Men's group has sponsored or assisted with the following projects during the past year:

• Support the migrant workers in our region through donations and visits.
• Helped to paint our lower hallway and Fellowship Hall.
• Assisted our Outreach Committee with a chicken barbeque.
• Assisted the church with the annual Garland Strawberry Festival.
• Hosted several after-worship coffee hours.
• Planned and implemented an annual Men's Group Sunday worship service.
• Support Miracle Garden, tsunami-orphan Christian School in India, through donations.
